Now, 9 of september channel "TNT" start show 4 season of Sailor Moon. Serial was bying from Germany, so we cann "Join" German texno musik and voises on the fon. Translation was terrible. Acters is inexpert Same attack and transformation called wrong. Changed names of Heroes. Thousand of fans in shocking conditions look on the "stuped-idioted" Usagi, Ami`s voice sounds like voice of infantile gerl-wtith sindrome of Downa. And more... Also Channel "Stolitca" start show the 1st season of Sailor Moon.

In Russia, the anime Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon was aired (don't know if it still is, I don't think so). They got at least up to SailorMoon R, and perhaps SailorMoonS series.The name of the show there translated to "Moon in a Sailor Suit" I have no idea what the Russian dub of it is like, besides the fact that I know Russian dubs are always really good and they kept all of te scenes in, didn't cut anything outlike the American dub did, but I don't know anything for a fact yet (I live in Canada now, I left Russia before the show started), but I know some info about it. They changed some of the characters' names (this is all I can see from the Russian SailorMoon artbook/stickerbook I have):
Usagi Tsukino is named Bunny Tsukino (that's how it is pronounced in English, not Russian) and her Senshi name is Sailor-Moon (in English again)
Ami Mizuno is Ami, and her Senshi name is Sailor-Merkuriy (that's Russian for Mercury)
Rei Hino is Rei, and her Senshi name is Sailor-Mars
Aino Minako is Marta, and her Senshi name is Sailor-Venera (that's Russian for Venus)
Makoto Kino is Morea, and her Senshi name is Sailor-Yupiter (that's Russian for Jupiter)
ChibiUsa is Malyshka Bunny (Malyshka means Little in Russian, and Bunny is said in English, so it's literally Little Bunny)
Mamoru is Milord, and his Senshi name is Tuxedo Mask (said in English) Prince Demando (I think, not sure) is Lord Kaspar
Saffir is Zahar
There is a Russian SailorMoon artbook you can get, and it bascally is some info on the characters and pictures of them. It also comes with a LOT of stickers you can stick onto the artbook so now it's really an artbook, filled with little pictures on big pictures. There is aso a poster in the center of the artbook that you can stick together (also made up of stickers)
There is also a Russian SailorMoon fanclub you can join.

First of all, I have to assure you that Russian voice-over dub of "Sailor Moon" preserves all the original names, exept for Tsukino Usagi (Bunny Tsukino in R. dub) and Chibi-Usa (Malyshka (Small girl) in R. dub). Other name changes exist only in sticker books (!) because in Russia they are produced separately from the series. Right now "SM" is the only one anime series aired on Russian television (31-st channel). As far as we know, it will be shown up to the end of SMS. Yet unofficial (and unlicensed) black anime market in Russia grows everyday. ^_^ If not for the last financial crisis in Russia, we could have something more of the official releases...
During the 1998 Moscow Festival of Japan culture in October we had official theatrical showings of all non-commercial animation by Tezuka Osamu and "Taiyo no Ouji Horus no Daibouken" by Takahata and Miyazaki. Nice, yet somehow outdated. In October 1998 first Russian second-level anime domain ( http://www.anime.ru/ ) was opened, especially for English-challenged Russian otaku. Right now it builds slowly, we already have first examples of Russian fan-scripts and fanfics, descriptions of "Shinseiki Evangelion", "Slayers", "GITS", etc.
The first and the biggest Russian otaku club "R.An.Ma. Association" prepares to enter New Year with all new goals and projects to bring anime and manga into Russia. ^_^
